We are currently seeking applications for a permanent full-time position of approximately 10-12 hours per week. Hours of work will be 1PM to 7pM on Friday through Saturday, total working hours will be an approximate 12 hours per week. The facility operates 24/7, 365 days per year, this includes holidays. Starting wages are set at $13.25 and may increase depending on the candidate. Wages increase annually based on performance reviews.

You must be physically fit enough to perform the work, this includes lifting mopbuckets, 4 gallon pails, and being on your feet on hard surface flooring for the majority of the shift. Some of our duties take us outside in wind, rain AND snow. You are required to pass an advanced background check. This involves a background verification with fingerprinting.

You MUST be a Canadian citizen OR permanent resident in order to obtain the proper clearance.

We are currently seeking applications for a permanent full-time position of 32 hours per week. Hours of work will be 10PM to 6AM on Friday and Saturday and 2 others days of 05:30AM to 2PM, total working hours will be an approximate 32 hours per week. The facility operates 24/7, 365 days per year, this includes holidays. Starting wages are set at $14.00 and may increase depending on the candidate. Wages increase annually based on performance reviews.

Seeking additional cottage cleaning for the 2017 season. Pay by the job, not hourly, hourly rates can be provided for larger or continuing jobs. Hiring part-time, weekends & evenings.

Job consists of mostly light duty cleaning however it gets quite busy at times so we are looking for a physically fit person that is able to keep up with the job. Because we work around travelers and other airport staff we need people that are comfortable doing so, getting the job done while being pleasant in interactions. Duties include washing floors, walls, washrooms, removing garbage, sweeping, machine scrubbing, spill cleanups, wiping surfaces etc. Must be able to lift 20lbs (buckets). Shifts are two four hour shifts on weekends to start, between the hours of 05:00(am!) and (00:30AM!). Generally for the first weeks to months of employment the shifts will be 20:30 – 00:30 until the person knows the job and hours can then vary as we do have other shift times.

The right person must be available on evenings and weekends, although I am very flexible in scheduling, and be able to a obtain Restricted Area clearance. This involves a five year extended background check beyond the normal criminal record check. All documents for this process must be original documents and in English and if not must be certified translations to be able to obtain this clearance so this may be difficult for certain people.

The Airport is a nice place to work and we get along well with the other groups of people working there. All of us are long-term employees and get along quite well, which makes it less of a ‘job’, it would be ideal to find someone who will fit in with this and stick around long-term. Usually I offer the two hour shifts to start and if a person fits in well more hours can be available.
